Brooklyn, NY is synonymous with quality hip-hop. From legends like Jay-Z and Notorious B.I.G to established veterans like Talib Kweli and Mos Def, the most populous of New York City's five boroughs has never had a shortage of rapping talent. That streak continues into 2013, thanks to The Astronomical Kid, otherwise known as Astro. The former X Factor USA contestant has released his first full-length mixtape, titled Deadbeats & Lazy Lyrics.

Included on the 13-track free release are Booth-featured selections "Deadbeat," "Methods" and "He Fell Off." Astro rides solo throughout DB & LL, with production accompaniment turned in by 9th Wonder, BrandUn DeShay, ThatLoserLaron and more.
