AWAR x Vanderslice - The Winning Team

Posted 2 years ago

When a high-caliber NYC rhymesayer like AWAR and a buzzworthy producer such as Vanderslice join forces, their combined powers should leave the competition shaking in its boots. So it's only appropriate that, on their first joint project, they've dubbed themselves The Winning Team.

The 17-track album comes heralded by reader-approved singles "Cadillac Grills," "Reincarnation," "Broad Daylight" and "Wake Up Call." Throughout the set, AWAR's joined on the mic by a variety of noteworthy artists, among them BJ the Chicago Kid, Freddie Gibbs, Giant Gorilla Dog Thing, Has-Lo, King Los, Latoiya Williams and Roc Marciano. Vanderslice handles the bulk of the production, with help from Green Steez, Jaisu and Trox.

The Winning Team is now available for free streaming and digital purchase courtesy of The DJBooth. All tracks are high quality audio (320 kbps mp3s).
