Backbone - Beats & Rhymes (The Homage EP)

Posted 2 years ago

ATL-born and bred emcee Backbone has come together with The DJBooth to bring listeners his latest street release, Beats & Rhymes (The Homage EP).

Created to honor hip-hop's golden era and bridge the gap between the old and new-school, the project packs a total of nine fresh cuts from the Dungeon Family affiliate, none of which have previously been featured in the Booth.

Bobby P Whitfield, Fonzworth Bentley, Slimm Calhoun and Tommy Nova make guest appearances on the EP, joining Backbone over beats from Boogie Down Productions' "The Bridge Is Over," Run-DMC's "Sucker MC's" and many more classic jams.
