Known for his impeccable delivery, El Gant began building a name for himself in the early 2000s, becoming a four-time MTV Direct Effect Freestyle Champion on the strength of his quick-witted bars. Having released several mixtapes and full-length albums, the prolific NYC-based veteran has now released his new studio album.

Beast Academy is produced entirely by JOAT (Jack of All Trades), a beatsmith who has previously worked with the likes of La Coka Nostra, Ill Bill, and Vinnie Paz. The album is an aggressive, fast-paced offering that pairs El Gant with several of the industry's most revered lyricists, from seasoned vets such as El Da Sensei (of The Artifacts), and Ill Bill to burgeoning talents like Chris Webby and Torae. Shabaam Sahdeeq, F.T., Bekay and Red Eye, fellow members of supergroup Infinity Gauntlet, lend a hand on "Bases Loaded."

Beast Academy is now available for streaming and digital purchase in The DJBooth, via Gant's own Rule By Secrecy imprint. Those purchasing the project will receive high quality audio (320 kbps) MP3s.
