Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - Piñata

Posted 2 years ago

Gary, Indiana rhymesayer Freddie Gibbs and Oxnard, Cali beatsmith Madlib have (finally) unleashed their first collaborative full-length, Piñata.

Coming on the heels of Gibbs's 2013 debut, ESGN (Evil Seeds Grow Naturally), the project packs 17 original jams from the twosome. Included are Booth-approved singles "Thuggin'," "Shame" and "Deeper," which double as the title tracks of their previously-released joint EPs. Ab-Soul, Casey Veggies, Danny Brown, Mac Miller, Raekwon and Scarface join Gibbs on the mic throughout the set, which is produced entirely by Madlib.

Watch for Freddie Gibbs's second independent full-length, Eastside Slim, to drop later in 2014.
