Jared Evan - Pieces EP

Posted 2 years ago

Booth-acclaimed singer/songwriter, producer and emcee Jared Evan has liberated his latest collection of original material, the Pieces EP. Coming on the heels of February's Boom Bap & Blues LP, a joint release with Statik Selektah, it packs seven new tracks from the Brooklyn native, none of which have previously been featured in the Booth.

The project finds Evan reflecting on his career to date. As he puts it, "[The title] came about when I was thinking about where I started and how I ended up where I am now, and how the 'Pieces' all fell into place. How I [went from] a huge record deal at a major label... to becoming independent and starting over again. 'Pieces' also symbolizes bits and pieces that I'm giving away to my fans. They deserve some pieces of me and my music, because it's been a little bit since my last project."

Chiddy Bang makes a guest appearance on the EP, which boasts beats by The Arcitype, illFactor and !llmind.
