Jersey emcee J.Y. has come together with The DJBooth and his own site, WhoisJY.com, to bring listeners his long-awaited junior full-length, The Slave Shift: Falling Up.

The follow-up to last year's Waking Down, the project features 19 brand new tracks from the underground emcee, including reader-approved cuts "Can't Pretend," "Down the Road," "Pose for Me," "Steven" and "Success." Joining J.Y. on the guest tip throughout Falling Up are such collaborators as Cito on the Beat, Cory Gunz, Dee Goodz, Emilio Rojas, Michael Francis, Rico Love and ScienZe. Beats come courtesy of The Awesome Sound, Fortunate Ones, JRB, Nard & B, Nick Rio and Rico Love.
