Lorenzo Asher - Numismatics

Posted about 2 years ago

Plenty of rappers like getting money, but most love currency for the comfort and security it can buy, rather than its innate qualities. Lorenzo Asher, on the other hand, deeply appreciates the craft that goes into a coin or bank note; that's why the Brooklyn-by-way-of-Cleveland spitter has titled his latest digital full-length Numismatics.

Preceded by tremendously-acclaimed singles "The Undying Brave" and "Moon Springs, Natural," the 12-track project packs guest appearances by a number of noteworthy artists, among them Durand Bernarr, Rockie Fresh, Rome Fortune and XV. In addition to Asher's own boardwork, it features production by Garrett Zablocki, Jerry J.L. Lang and UNKNWN.

Released to the 'net on Tuesday, August 5, Numismatics is available for free streaming and download right here in The DJBooth.
