Mickey Factz - 740 Park Avenue

Posted 2 years ago

Last December, Mickey Factz announced that he was hanging up the mic for good. As it turns out, though, the Big Apple indie phenom simply needed a few weeks' vacation from the grind. He stepped back into the studio earlier this year and now, after several months of work, he has made his official comeback with 740 Park Ave.

"Detroit Red," a May lead single dedicated to Malcolm X, sets the tone for the 14-track collection, which finds Factz joined on the mic by B. Madison, HIRAETH, Mackey, Sam Lao and Steven Tyner. An all-star cast of beatsmiths handles production throughout the LP, among them Alchemist, Key Wane, M83 and Mark Henry.

Released digitally on Monday, July 14, 740 Park is available now for free streaming and download in The DJBooth.
