Mike Boyd - ...Note the Sarcasm

Posted 2 years ago

In late March, Enfield, Nova Scotia native Mike Boyd released an 11-track LP, entitled ...Note the Sarcasm, which caught our collective ear here at The DJBooth.

After listening to standout tracks like promo single "Mr. Mike" and the Booth-approved dual single, "Small World / Fly Like A Butterfly," it was clear that we needed to further introduce our audience to Boyd's unique on-the-mic approach and charismatic flow.

In an effort to "take it back to the days of real hip-hop, with a touch of comedy and sarcasm," the Halflife Records signee and his label boss Classified (who produced the entire project) have created a complete body of work that is short on effects and heavy on ingenuity.

Featuring guest appearances from D-Sisive, Madchild, Naledge, Shad and more, ...Note the Sarcasm is currently available in stream form below, in addition to being available for purchase via iTunes.
