Posted 2 years ago

If you've been a loyal reader of The DJBooth over the course of the past few years, you already know that QuESt is one of the most promising young lyricists to come out of Miami in a hot minute. If not, well, the release of his latest independent full-length offers the perfect opportunity to get familiar.

Searching Sylvan is a conceptual project consisting of 17 original jams. Reader-approved singles “May 10th, 2012, "Automatic," "Lost N**gas," "Struggle Rapper" and "Hunger" offer a sampling of the varied sounds, styles and concepts on display throughout the set.

Lizi Joi, Mélat and Mickey Factz make guest appearances on the project, which boasts beats by the likes of 6ix, Denaun Porter, Kyle Justice, Logic, The Marvels, OB, Synematik, Tae Beast, Will Notes and Wishlade.
