Robb Bank$ - Tha City

Posted 3 years ago

Hip-hop artists always talk about "putting on" for their city, but how often do you hear them put on for your city? The answer: not often.

On his brand new album, emcee Robb Bank$ throws a curveball into this commonly-accepted behavior. Instead of only shining a light on his home state of Florida, the rap buzzmaker has chosen to rep Tha City, which includes 14 different locations across the globe; one for each original record on the project. From his native Ft. Lauderdale up to New York City, and across the pond to London, Bank$ shows everyone love (including Baton Rouge, Louisiana, which is represented in the form of previously-featured selection "On Me").

Notable special guests include Phlo Finister and Sir Michael Rocks, while behind-the-boards credits belong to Freebase, K.E. On The Track, Nuri, POSHstronaut, Spaceghost Purrp and Zaytoven.
