Block Music Album Review

Making a case as the strongest and most talented female artist in the industry, the release of her sophomore album "Block Music," has allowed Shawnna temporary bragging rights (at least until Lil' Kim washes the ink from her finger-tips). With the entire DTP family on board (Ludacris, Bobby V, Field Mobb, I-20 and newcomer Shareefa) most might think the album is too laced with features to show Shawnna's true talents. However, the guest features do little to detour the listener or DJ from her lyrics and flow. Instead, they showcase her extraordinary abilities side by side to some of the most dominant male MC's in the game.

DJ Z's Picks:
Damn (feat. Smoke of Field Mob)
In tha Chi (feat. Johnny P & Syleena Johnson)
Can't Break Me (feat. Buddy Guy & Shareefa)
Chicago (feat. Avant, Buddy Guy & Malik Yusef)

Possible Future Singles:
Take It Slow (feat. Bobby Valentino & Ludacris)
Block Music (Bang)(feat. I-20)

Mixtape Ready:
Roll Wit Me
Candy Coated (feat. 8 Ball & MJG)
Gettin' Some [Remix] (feat. Ludacris, Lil' Wayne, Pharrell & Too $hort)
