Slaine - The King of Everything Else

Posted 2 years ago

In his heyday, Biggie Smalls declared himself King of New York—a title which Kendrick Lamar would provocatively claim on last year's Control (#HOF). As for Massachusetts native and La Coka Nostra member Slaine, he doesn't give a damn about the Big Apple; he's happy being The King of Everything Else.

On his latest solo set, the veteran emcee exults in his dominance over the game in 15 brand new cuts. Included are singles "Back Against the Wall," "Hip Hop Dummy," "Dopehead," "Getting High" and "Bobby Be Real." Apathy, Bishop Lamont, Checkmark, Jaysaun, Moroney, Regan Hartley, REKS, Rite Hook, Tech N9ne, Termanology and Vinnie Paz make guest appearances throughout the set, which packs production by The Arcitype, DJ Lethal, Louis Bell and Statik Selektah.

The King of Everything Else is available now for digital purchase, via Suburban Noize. Our readers can preview the set below, which is available for free, full stream.
