We were on hand at the NAMM 2017 show earlier this year and got a sneak peak at the full Denon DJ Prime setup which includes turntables, new decks, and a dope four channel mixer. The Denon DJ Prime setup was back in action and in public at Dancefair 2017 where DJ’s finally got to put their hands on the new gear and see just how good it performs in person. After last month’s public Beta of Serato DJ 1.9.5, the official release is here and ready to go! The new Serato DJ 1.9.5 contains a host of improvements including the ability to use the Pioneer NEXUS 2 DJ setup in full working harmony. The Pioneer DJM-900NXS2 is Serato DJ compatible with the purchase of the Serato DJ Club Kit pack and the CDJ-2000NXS2 decks work in full HID mode using a USB cable or networked for single connection to the computer.
The Pioneer CDJ-2000NXS2 is the latest and greatest Pioneer media player which has a new 7-inch touchscreen, higher audio resolution, 8 accessible RGB hotcues, colored waveforms, and all the other goodies that came from the original model. Pioneer has just updated its Flagship club-standard multi-media player and we now have one in the DJbooth.net lab for the full out review treatment. Earlier today Pioneer DJ Division has just announced their new flagship Mutlimedia deck CDJ-2000NXS2 and their new club-standard DJ mixer DJM-900NXS2. These are obviously new versions of their existing lineup with a host of new features that is sure to make DJ’s everywhere stand up and take notice. Reloop has just announced their brand new multi-media player called the RMP-4. This new Hybrid Performance Player can play CD’s, USB media, and act as a MIDI controller for playback. The Reloop RMP-4 deck also has advanced features on-board like Slip Mode, Loop Roll, Hot Cues, and eight buttons to control the popular features. Earlier this morning Pioneer DJ has released a very quick teaser video of what looks to be like their new Rekordbox software with a lot more features. Specifically, it looks like the Rekordbox software that currently handles track preparation and library management for CDJ/DJM users will now be able to work in real time with new DJ controllers and perhaps even DVS timecode vinyl setups.
