V-Moda makes our favorite DJ and everyday use headphones here at DJbooth.net. We loved the Crossfade Wireless and M-100’s so much that they are the #1 headphone in our Top Five DJ headphone video. The V-Moda headphones can also be fully customized with their Shield kits that attach to the outside of the earcups to express your individual style. They start at $25 and can reach into the thousands depending on the precious material you decide to use.
We’ve been reviewing professional DJ headphones on this site and youtube channel for years now and its finally time that we rank our top 5 DJ headphones heading into the new year. Check out our video inside to see which headphones made the cut.
The new V-MODA Crossfade Wireless is the company’s first cordless headphones that sport the same over-the-ear 50mm drivers and overall construction as my favorite DJ headphones, the M-100’s. The Crossfade Wireless headphones are rechargeable via USB, can use the same accessories and shields as the M-100’s, and they even have almost the same sound signature when running in wireless mode and cable mode.

VModa make great headphones. Always wanted to own one. Their headphones have won great awards, they are worn by some of the best DJs in the business. So it is not a big surprise with Roland establishing a partnership with them. This is what the SEO had to say: After testing countless headphones for the ultimate pair that accurately represented the music we created, we found V-MODA’s Crossfade M-100.”
