Sol Republic Reviews
UPDATE: Congrats to @NikkiDCincy for winning the SOL REPUBLIC headphone giveaway contest!! Stay tuned for more giveaways to come!
Sol Republic has just released their new headphones called the Master Tracks XC which are a new edition of the original Master Tracks we reviewed earlier this year. These Master Tracks XC headphones sport the same build quality and characteristics as the original, but the sound quality was specifically tuned by famed-producer Calvin Harris for better sound reproduction and accuracy. DJbooth.net team-member Nathan was sent a set of these new headphones to give them a quick mini-review to see how they perform for your average music enthusiast.
Sol Republic is a relatively new company with a nice line of headphones of a few various shapes and sizes to suit all sorts of listening styles and needs. The Sol Republic Master Tracks headphones are their new over-the-ear style of headphones that could possibly fit the bill for DJ’s needs based on its construction and replaceable parts offered in case anything ever does break. The purpose of this review is to test them out further to see if they can handle the abuse and needs of a Performing DJ. Check out the written and video reviews after the jump to see if they make the grade.
The Sol Republic Master Tracks professional over-the-ear headphones feature a rugged design and 100% user replaceable parts. This is the main reason behind bringing the Master Tracks headphones into the DJbooth Lab to test them out and see how they would perform from a DJ’s perspective. They have a lightweight design and they feel really comfortable. The full HD-Video review will come out within the next few weeks after I’ve put them through the paces. Check out my unboxing and first impressions video of the Master Tracks headphones in the meantime.
