We were on hand at the NAMM 2017 show this year and we brought you an exclusive look at both their new Quattro Serato DJ Mixer and the new PRIMO Serato DJ controller. While we were there we also ran into a few famous DJ’s that were cutting it up on the recently reviewed Mixars DUO Serato DJ mixer and the STA turntables that were setup in the booth. We were right in the thick of the Denon DJ lounge area at the NAMM 2017 show two weeks ago where we got our exclusive look and walkthrough video of their new powerful PRIME lineup. The device that didn’t get much attention is the Denon DJ X1800 PRIME mixer that has 4-channels, on-board effects, dual-USB ports for easy changeovers, an OLED display & touch controls for effects and more.
Reloop is getting into the NAMM 2017 spirit by releasing the new RMX-90 DVS Serato DJ mixer. The new Reloop RMX-90 is a four channel club style mixer with 12 on-board Beat effects, internal 8x8 soundcard with Serato DJ DVS capability for all four channels, a USB hub, and individual channel filters. This new Powerful Mixer will be at NAMM and so will we to bring you an exclusive video look and our own first impressions.
Denon DJ has just announced a new flagship player the SC5000, and a new flagship direct drive turntable called the VL12, so its only fitting that they also announce their new flagship top-tier DJ mixer called the X1800. The new X1800 has four channels, on-board effects, dual-USB ports for easy changeovers, an OLED display for effects controls and more. Check out the full press release and more.

The Pioneer DJM-900NXS2 is Serato DJ compatible with the purchase of the Serato DJ Club Kit pack and the CDJ-2000NXS2 decks work in full HID mode using a USB cable or networked for single connection to the computer. Serato has just released a new video tutorial showing how to setup the Nexus 2 with Serato DJ.

Mixars has just released the new MXR-2 two-channel DJ mixer with internal DVS-ready soundcard, onboard effects, and more. This new mixer comes in at the sweet price of only $400 but it currently isn’t compatible with Traktor or Serato (unless you use some coding work-around that is known to the insiders). We may get one of these in the lab for a video review but check out the full press release for more info.
The Allen & Heath Xone:PX5 is a new four channel mixer that has sturdy build quality, built-in effects, an internal USB soundcard, and an advanced send/receive system for external effects modules. The Xone:PX5 also has that excellent analog sound with lots of other features hidden under the hood. Check out the new 6-part tutorial video series that Allen & Heath has released to get everyone familiar with this new mixer.

Early this morning Pioneer DJ announced three new products for DJ’s. The first is the Pioneer DJM-450 mixer which is a compact, two-channel mixer with Beat FX, Sound Color FX, and Rekordbox DVS compatibility straight out of the box. The next is the Pioneer DDJ-WeGO4 which is an update to the WeGO lineup for beginner DJ’s and comes bundled with the FULL Rekordbox DJ software. The last is the Pioneer WeDJ which is an iPad app that allows DJ’s to spin using the iPad.
