Denon DJ has just released the compact but professional DJ controller called the MC7000 that has solid reliable build quality, perfect Serato DJ integration, and lots of other features that are meant to suit the real working DJ’s including a dual USB soundcard for easy DJ changeovers. This new deck has eight RGB backlit pads on the bottom to control the hotcues, samples, slicer, and loops along with a full color touch screen display and a central display on the jog wheel that shows the current track’s artwork and needle position. Even though the Jogvision has been out for almost two years, we finally got one in the lab for the full out video review treatment. The Hercules DJ Control Jogvision has metal top jog wheels with LED indicators on them to make it easier to juggle, scratch, and cue the music without looking at the computer screen. The Pioneer DJM-900NXS2 is Serato DJ compatible with the purchase of the Serato DJ Club Kit pack and the CDJ-2000NXS2 decks work in full HID mode using a USB cable or networked for single connection to the computer. Pioneer DJ has just announced a new surprising follow-up controller to their top tier Serato DJ controller called the DDJ-SZ2. We reviewed the original DDJ-SZ a few years ago, but now the new DDJ-SZ2 makes a few improvements including lower jog wheel latency, bundling of Serato PNT/FLIP/Pitch Play, new on-board effects, Magvel Crossfader, post-crossfader effects, and more durability.
