The 2013 Atlantic City DJ Expo starts in only two short months from now! Beginning from August 12th to August 15th almost every major DJ equipment manufacturer in the world will be on-hand at the Trump Taj Mahal with all of their brand new shiny DJ gear for everyone to use, touch, fondle, and purchase as us DJ's see fit. We always bring you top Video coverage at every years' event and this time will be no different. DJ Premier will also be on-hand at this Year's DJ Expo as one of the star-guests of the show.

One of popular music’s greatest DJ/producers will be making an exclusive appearance at DJ Expo this summer.

Hip-hop legend DJ Premier will appear at the Stanton DJ booth in the DJ Expo’s exhibit hall at 3:30 pm on Tuesday, August 13. Be there to witness the magic from one of the most influential DJs to ever hit the decks or create a record-the one and only, DJ Premier.

DJ Expo-presented by DJ Times and Testa Communications-will run August 12-15 at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, N.J. The Expo will offer three days of exhibits, four days of educational seminars/workshops, and three nights of sponsored parties and events, like ADJ’s Pizzafest (with DJ Kool) and Promo Only’s annual Summer Sessions party.
Since 1990, the influential producer behind Gang Starr has created a slew of hits for a wide range of artists-from rap icons like Jay-Z, Notorious B.I.G. and Nas to pop/urban acts like Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys and Cee-Lo. As an upcoming DJ in Texas, Premier (aka Christopher Edward Martin) was deeply influenced by New York genre pioneers like Marley Marl and he eventually moved to Brooklyn to begin his long and successful professional career.

DJ Premier’s own label, Year Round Records, sports a roster that includes New York group NYGz and Houston-based rapper Khaleel. Also, DJ Premier hosts a weekly two-hour show, Live From HeadQCourterz, on SiriusXM Radio’s Hip-Hop Nation on Fridays.
