StageSource Smart Speakers the Perfect Foundation for DJ Bassline

DJ BasslineAnthony Heath, a.k.a. DJ Bassline, is a club and mobile DJ in Bozeman, MT.  Performing every week at a variety of gigs including downtown clubs, weddings, parties and dances, DJ Bassline has recently upgraded his PA to a 5,400-watt StageSource™ system including a pair of StageSource L3t loudspeakers and a pair of StageSource L3s subwoofers. “I used to bring passive speakers and subs to my gigs, which meant loads of wires, amps and a long setup,” explains DJ Bassline. “After reading the info, watching YouTube reviews and looking at the forums, I decided to purchase the Line 6 system. It was the best decision I could have made!”

Sound quality, versatility and ease of setup are DJ Bassline’s most important priorities.
“The audio is top notch!” he says. “The mids and highs are very crisp, while the lows, especially with the Extended Bass and Ultra Bass Smart Speaker modes on the L3s subwoofer, give that whole-body thump that club-goers crave.”

A powerful 1,400-watt, three-way, tri-amped system, StageSource L3t integrates DSP-driven Smart Speaker modes, a full-featured digital mixer and L6 LINK™ digital networking. The L3s subwoofer is a 12” bi-amped, 1,200-watt system that also features Smart Speaker modes and is designed to work seamlessly with the L3t via intelligent L6 LINK digital networking.

With the wide variety of performances that DJ Bassline plays at each night, “one of best parts about these speakers is the built-in mixer,” he explains. “Some people prefer live guitar for their wedding ceremonies, and with the built-in mixer, the guitarist can just plug his guitar into my setup without any hassle.”

Getting in and out fast is important for DJ Bassline, and also for his clients. He relates, “L6 LINK is incredible because it makes setup easy and it automatically self-configures the whole system, crossovers and everything! And, the carry handles are great because sometimes I can’t just park right on top of the venue.”

DJ Bassline has found that StageSource is great for his performances and also a solid investment for his business. “Needless to say, with the wide range of uses, from wedding music and live instruments, to progressive house and EDM, I will be using this setup for many years to come.”
