NAMM 2011 - American Audio Debuts the VMS4-Traktor and the VMS2

Posted 5 years ago by

At this year's NAMM, American Audio has announced an updated version to their already successful VMS4 media controller now shipping with a version of Traktor called the VMS4-Traktor. Another little surprise announcement is the new American Audio VMS2 media controller which is basically a 2-channel/2-deck version of the popular VMS4.
After taking a good look at the pictures, you can tell the differences between the original VMS4 and the new VMS4-Traktor is a bit more than skin deep. The new additions to the VMS4 with Traktor includes; Cue delete buttons directly below the CUE banks, isolated effects section controls, and A/C or B/D buttons to immediately switch between the four-decks of control.
The American Audio VMS2 will come bundled with Virtual DJ LE and boasts crossfader curve control and two decks of mixing goodness. We will try to get a set of these for review as we have been getting requests for a review since the first VMS4 rolled onto the scene. Stay tuned for more information and updates.
