Top Remixes of the Month [March 2014]

Posted 2 years ago by is starting a brand new monthly feature, showcasing the top remixes that we have come across for the month. The features will not be limited to any genre and will highlight up and coming DJ/producers, along with those who are well established within the music community. In the past we have featured remixes like this from select artists, but for the first time, we are compiling a monthly list to bring you all of the heat in one location. To start off the series, we have included remixes of artists including Pharrell, Drake, Nas, and others. Please enjoy these tracks and be sure to leave feedback in the comment section.

Pharrell - Happy (Robots With Rayguns Remix)

Robots With Rayguns came into being in 2008, when producer Gravemachine decided to twist his darker production into a brighter electropop style of music. His remix of Pharrell’s Happy, brings in an early feel of summertime, despite it still being early spring. This track has already been climbing the charts, and had made its way to’s top remixes of the month. At the young age of 21, it seems that this will not be the last we hear from RWR.

DJ KOOL - Let Me Clear My Throat (PARTY FAVOR Remix)

Party Favor has been killing the remix game for a minute now, and this DJ KOOL edit is no exception. Working with reputable agencies like Windish and Spinnin’ Records, Party Favor’s clout is hard to deny within his lane. This dope twist on an old classic was an automatic choice for this month’s picks.

Nas & Missy Elliot - Hot Boyz (Insurgents Remix)

The Insurgents are a new production group out of NYC consisting of well-known DJ, TJ Mizell, and fellow producer Christian Colon. This is the first official record release from them, and it BUMPS. Fresh off of a European tour, these guys are on a roll and not slowing down anytime soon. Be sure to check out the official music video HERE.

Drake - Own It (DTWICE DE BEL-AIR Edit)

Axel Dtwice de Bel'air is definitely our sleeper pick of the month, but the second I came across him I realized how I had slipped by not finding him earlier. This dude has the sound of this new chillwave/love trap sound that is rising at a rapid pace. Honestly, it’s pretty hard to find information about this guy (if it is a guy) but we’re pretty sure that he’s French. Either way, check out his remix to Drake’s Own It, and enjoy.

The Weeknd - Wanderlust (Snakehips Remix)

Snakehips is one of those producers who manages to carve out their own genre in an age of music that is oversaturated with electronic, soundcloud-crazed DJs. In their flip of The Weeknd’s Wanderlust, Snakehips flexes their ability to create a vibe that shows why they are so unique to the scene.
