[Video] Vestax VCI-400DJ Available Now

Vestax VCI-400 DJ Controller

The Vestax VCI-400DJ (the special edition VCI-400 that comes bundled with the full version of Serato DJ software) Digital DJ controller is now released and available for purchase at your local retailer. The VCI-400 is an extremely versatile DJ controller that can work in perfect harmony with Traktor, Serato, Virtual DJ, Mixvibes, and almost every other popular DJ software on the market.

Vestax has now officially released the Vestax VCI-400DJ which, not only comes with Serato DJ, but also dawns a new color scheme and skin which have commands and features that correspond to the features found in the new software.

I liked the VCI-400 so much that I kept my review unit and even upgraded the crossfader to the scratch-happy CF-X2. The perfect Serato DJ integration is yet another reason for people to take a good look at the VCI-400 if they are in the market for a new DJ controller but don't exactly want to commit to a particular software.

Check out the full press release and my review and DIY video of the VCI-400 below...

The VCI-400DJ, a professional 4-channel DJ MIDI controller dedicated to Serato DJ, and based on
the acclaimed VCI-400 hardware.

The VCI-400DJ is available as a limited edition, shipped with a free upgrade licence to Serato’s
flagship pro DJ software, Serato DJ.

The VCI-400DJ is the perfect solution for DJs who have been seeking for a premium controller in
a robust and compact body. The association with Serato DJ has made the VCI-400DJ the most
reliable and intuitive portable DJ controller in it’s league.

The VCI-400DJ was designed to give long-term durability. The thick aluminium facepanel and
die-cast corners provide rigidity to the whole hardware. The large aluminum Filter knobs are also
a distinctive Vestax design that has been inherited from previous Vestax quality hardware.

The integrated audio interface uses a studio-grade asynchronous USB streaming system, to provide
low-latency, bit-perfect audio at 24-bit / 48 kHz resolution. This audio system combines a XMOS
dual-core digital processor with carefully selected analogue components, to deliver clear and
powerful sound. In addition, the EQ response of the integrated Stand-alone mixer was shaped
from the legendary PMC-55 club mixer.
