Overview:

Belva is a new player in the PA speaker system market and they sent us a new Belva BDRS-12BLU and BDRS-12P 12-inch woofer powered speakers to put them through the paces to see if they would work well for beginner or entry-level DJ use.  These inexpensive powered speakers have a plethora of inputs/outputs, rugged molded enclosures, and a built-in Mixer with a two-band EQ to get the levels just right.  Check out our review video inside.

Setup & First Impressions

Belva is a new player in the PA speaker system market and they sent us a new Belva BDRS-12BLU and BDRS-12P 12-inch woofer powered speakers to put them through the paces to see if they would work well for beginner or entry-level DJ use. The BDRS-12BLU speakers have a screen on the back to control the Bluetooth, SD card, or USB connectivity which is excluded on the BDRS-12P edition. Both speakers have an internal 200 Watt RMS amplifier that will work well for small sized events and gatherings. These inexpensive powered speakers have a plethora of inputs/outputs, rugged molded enclosures, and a built-in Mixer with a two-band EQ to get the levels just right. The price of the BDRS-12BLU is only $180 while the BDRS-12P checks in at $160. Check out our review video above and the review summary below to see if these will fit into your own setup.
