Overview:

The Sennheiser Momentum On-Ear headphones sport a minimalistic design that is all business with a solid metal construction and top-tier materials used throughout.  Although early on we realized that the Sennheiser Momentum On-Ear Headphones were not really suited for Professional DJ use, they do perform well with almost every other listening application or multimedia need due to great sound characteristics and a lightweight yet comfortable construction with soft Alcantara headband and earcups.

Conclusion / Recommended For

The Sennheiser Momentum On-Ear headphones were not really suited for Professional DJ needs due to the rather thin and relatively short cables that are included. They also don't really provide the level of isolation that would be necessary in a loud DJ booth or performance environment. However, the Momentum On-Ear headphones work really well with smartphones, laptops, tablets, MP3 players, and other all-around listening needs. The Momentum On-Ear headphones are very well made with Alcantara headband and earcup coverings that are really soft and comfortable to the touch. The headphones are also very durable due to the completely metal headband and the stitching is also top notch. The On-Ear headphones are very comfortable and lightweight that makes them ideal for very long listening sessions. The sound quality is very clear and crisp with an emphasis on the Mids. The headphones also come with two cables (one with an inline Microphone and buttons) and two carry cases (soft bag and hard zip case). The only minor gripe I could find with these headphones was that they do not fold or swivel in any way for a compact carry/storage solution. The Sennheiser Momentum On-Ear headphones are recommended as a good all-around headphone for multimedia listening needs.
