Denon DJ DS1 Serato Soundcard Review

The new Denon DS1 is a Serato DJ Digital Vinyl Interface and soundcard that will allow DJ’s to connect turntables and CD decks to an analog DJ mixer for full Serato DJ playback using noisemap (timecode) vinyl or CD’s.  The DS1 comes bundled with the full Serato DJ software and two timecode vinyl & CD’s for only $300.  This is great news for Serato DJ users as now there is another soundcard interface that can be purchased for less than the Rane SL offerings that tend to get really expensive really fast.  Check out our full video review after the jump.

Epsilon is a new DJ and Lighting company and they recently release a new starter DJ package for only $799 that includes two brand new Super-OEM professional quality turntables and a two-channel DJ mixer with a built in Mini-Innofader crossfader for good cuts and smooth mixing.  The Epsilon INNO-PROPAK is an excellent starting point for DJ’s who want a professional Digital/Analog vinyl control for mixing and scratching without breaking the bank.

Pioneer PLX-1000 Turntable Review

The new Pioneer PLX-1000 analog DJ turntables have the similar layout and basic features of the iconic Technics 1200’s that DJ’s are familiar with along with some “Super-OEM” turntable DNA and other minor adjustments to set it apart from the others on the market.  The PLX-1000 has the Pioneer CDJ looks with the beautiful brushed black finish and silver accents.  Check out our full review and comparison video to see how they stack up.

Reloop RP-8000 Hybrid MIDI Turntable Review

The new Reloop RP-8000 Professional Hybrid MIDI DJ turntables sport some of the familiar Super-OEM turntable DNA including the same high-torque motor and tonearm that is found on the Stanton ST-150, Reloop RP-6000, AT-LP1240, while still maintaining a “Technics 1200” layout and feel.  Even though the Reloop RP-8000 shows some of the same characteristics as it’s Super-OEM brethren, it also has a few additional features that you can’t find anywhere else including: a digital Pitch LED display, eight rubberized MIDI pads, four MIDI layer buttons, and an over-sized encoder knob which can all be mapped to any MIDI compatible DJ software out on the market today.

Audio Technica AT-LP1240-USB Turntable Review

The Audio-Technica company has been making some new waves in the DJ vinyl turntable market and I, for one, like what I see.  A couple of weeks ago, we brought you the review of the Audio-Technica AT-LP120-USB turntable which is basically a nice rendition of the iconic classic Technics 1200 deck.  Not only was it a good look-a-like, but it also performed rather well for its price.  Audio-Technica has now introduced an even better SUPER-OEM turntable that can hang with the best of them called the AT-LP1240-USB.  Check out our Full HD-Video review after the jump.

Audio Technica AT-LP120-USB Turntable Review

Last week we brought you the teaser video of the unboxing and first impressions of the Audio Technica AT-LP120-USB Professional Vinyl Turntables.  Well, we didn’t want to keep you waiting too long and we were able to put it through its paces in the Lab to let you know exactly how this “Technics clone” holds up to the old legend.  For only $200 each, these turntables pack a pretty powerful punch with a solid (albeit polymer) build and a few nice on-board DJ features as well.  Check out the full HD-Video Review inside.
