Numark NTX1000 DJ Turntable Review

Late last year while surfing the Numark DJ website, I noticed that the beloved TTX professional DJ turntable was listed in the “Discontinued” section. That’s because they were working on a new flagship turntable called the Numark NTX1000. This new deck replaces the TTX and has a metal rugged construction, high torque direct drive motor, and everything else anyone would want in a professional DJ turntable.  Check out our full unboxing and review videos to see what the NTX1000 is all about.

Orbit Concepts Jetpack Cut Portablist Backpack Review

Everyone knows that the Orbit Concepts DJ gig bags are my favorite backpacks that I use on the road when I’m out for a gig.  They all have excellent build quality and can fit exactly what I need with me every time for my performance.  They have done it again and introduced their new Jetpack Cut portablist backpack which can hold everything a portablist needs to take scratching on the go.

Numark PT01 Scratch Review

Numark has just released the new portable turntable with an integrated fader switch so DJ’s can take their turntablism act on the go!  The PT01 Scratch makes it very easy for anyone who wants to get into the Portablism scene without searching for several separate components and connecting them in a cumbersome manner.  Check out our full review video to see our thoughts.

Mixars LTA Turntable Review

The Mixars LTA is a High-Torque Direct drive DJ Turntable with Super-OEM turntable DNA. Just like most of the other turntables, they do their best to feel like the iconic Technics 1200s that DJ’s love. This comes with a rubber matte finish on top and a straight tonearm. It also comes with extra line outputs for that time when you need to output to two separate mixers.

Numark Dashboard Review

Numark released a brand new triple-screen device called the Dashboard which will allow users to connect it to any Serato DJ setup in order to view most of the valuable information DJ’s need such as waveforms, track information, effects, and more.  The Dashboard has three screens that are attached to an adjustable stand and can connect to any Serato DJ controller or DVS setup that is out there.  Watch our full video review after the jump.

Denon DJ DS1 Serato Soundcard Review

The new Denon DS1 is a Serato DJ Digital Vinyl Interface and soundcard that will allow DJ’s to connect turntables and CD decks to an analog DJ mixer for full Serato DJ playback using noisemap (timecode) vinyl or CD’s.  The DS1 comes bundled with the full Serato DJ software and two timecode vinyl & CD’s for only $300.  This is great news for Serato DJ users as now there is another soundcard interface that can be purchased for less than the Rane SL offerings that tend to get really expensive really fast.  Check out our full video review after the jump.

Epsilon INNO-PROPAK Review

Epsilon is a new DJ and Lighting company and they recently release a new starter DJ package for only $799 that includes two brand new Super-OEM professional quality turntables and a two-channel DJ mixer with a built in Mini-Innofader crossfader for good cuts and smooth mixing.  The Epsilon INNO-PROPAK is an excellent starting point for DJ’s who want a professional Digital/Analog vinyl control for mixing and scratching without breaking the bank.

Pioneer PLX-1000 Turntable Review

The new Pioneer PLX-1000 analog DJ turntables have the similar layout and basic features of the iconic Technics 1200’s that DJ’s are familiar with along with some “Super-OEM” turntable DNA and other minor adjustments to set it apart from the others on the market.  The PLX-1000 has the Pioneer CDJ looks with the beautiful brushed black finish and silver accents.  Check out our full review and comparison video to see how they stack up.
