Numark Dashboard Review

Numark released a brand new triple-screen device called the Dashboard which will allow users to connect it to any Serato DJ setup in order to view most of the valuable information DJ’s need such as waveforms, track information, effects, and more.  The Dashboard has three screens that are attached to an adjustable stand and can connect to any Serato DJ controller or DVS setup that is out there.  Watch our full video review after the jump.


Pioneer CDJ-2000NXS2 Review

The Pioneer CDJ-2000NXS2 is the latest and greatest Pioneer media player which has a new 7-inch touchscreen, higher audio resolution, 8 accessible RGB hotcues, colored waveforms, and all the other goodies that came from the original model.  They can also be paired with the DDJ-SP1 to access all 8 hotcues and better drumming on the pads.  Check out our full in-depth video review inside.


Pioneer XDJ-700 Review

Pioneer has released a brand new affordable and compact media player and controller called the XDJ-700.  The new Pioneer XDJ-700 replaces the original CDJ-350 as the smaller and lower-priced deck option for DJ’s who want club-like performance in their own personal setup without breaking the bank.  The XDJ-700 is fully compatible with Rekordbox, has a USB slot for drives, and can also be linked to other players and mixers with the Link cable for deck sharing, BPM sync, and much more.  Check out our full in-depth video review after the jump.


Denon DJ MC4000 Controller Review

The new Denon DJ MC4000 controller comes bundled with Serato DJ, has a great metal chassis, two microphone inputs for Mobile DJ’s, and a compact footprint to easily transport and store when taking it on the go.  The MC4000 is great for Mobile DJ’s as its compatible with Serato DJ, VirtualDJ 8, Algoriddim, and Traktor 2.9!  Check out our full Video review after the jump.


Pioneer XDJ-1000 Review

The Pioneer XDJ-1000 multimedia player is the first “CD-less” player by Pioneer DJ that boasts a full seven-inch hi-res color touchscreen that has lots of information on-board, along with a performance mode which allows users to use the screen for hot-cues, beat jump, loops, track searching, and more.  Check out our full video review to see all of the features and get our thoughts on the Pioneer XDJ-1000.


Numark NS7III DJ Controller Review

Numark has recently released its newest flagship controller the NS7III.  In this newest version, the Numark NS7III has all the same features and layout of the NS7II controller we reviewed last year, but it also adds three new 4.3-inch full-color screens for full track and navigation information without the need to look at the laptop screen.  Check out our full video review where we put these claims to the test and see if the new NS7III is a real improvement.


Traktor Kontrol D2 Review

NI has sent us two of their newest compact DJ controllers for Traktor called the Traktor Kontrol D2 for the full review treatment.  The Traktor Kontrol D2 is essentially the “deck” section of the recently reviewed Traktor Kontrol S8 DJ controller and it sports the same hi-res screen and heavy remix/stem deck control with multicolored backlit pads and volume controls.  The D2 and the S8 uses the remix deck controls and screens to manipulate the new Stems file format.


Rane TTM57MKII Serato DJ Mixer Review

The new Rane TTM57MKII two-channel Serato DJ Mixer is now in the DJbooth.net lab for the full Video review treatment.  The TTM57MKII is the new update to the original TTM57SL mixer that only worked with the aging Serato Scratch Live Software.  Now Rane has now updated the mixer with the new TTM57MKII complete with Serato DJ control, dual-USB ports, 8 RGB backlit pads, Low/High Pass filters, and the familiar layout that Rane is known for.
