After releasing singles, Make It Out Alive, Thug Poets and Up Every Night off of their forthcoming album, 1982 (the rap group, not the year) is back and ready to supply What the Streets Want. One half of the duo, Statik Selektah, provides the soulful production for his partner, Termanology to rhyme over. On the mic, Term shows listeners that he still has love for the streets with lines like “I be on planes from Europe to Japan, but I still hang with cats with burners in they hand.” The duo’s forthcoming album, 2012, is entirely produced by Selektah and features guest contributions from Mac Miller, Crooked I, Freddie Gibbs and Bun B. The album is set for release next Tuesday, but is available for pre-order now.
