Sorry, Bobby Shmurda fans; despite the title, you’re unlikely to pick up any fresh moves from Black Milk‘s largest feature, Detroit’s New Dance Show. You may, however, learn a thing or two about dope beats and lyrics. As usual, the Motown mainstay handles both mic and production duties on this promo single, rhyming about the ugly realities of life ‘round his way over a claustrophobic mix of plodding percussion, grainy synth-bass and eerie vocal samples. Dance Show may or may not find its way onto Black Milk’s next full-length, If There’s a Hell Below. Either way, you can keep it locked for the latest details on the set, which is due out before year’s end.
