In dual posts to Twitter and Facebook, Big Sean has announced he's currently finishing his fourth major label album.

The currently untitled album follows Sean's 2015 release Dark Sky Paradise, which was certified Platinum by the RIAA in February.

Fresh off the semi-surprise April release of Twenty88, a collaborative project with Jhené Aiko, Sean has shown no signs of slowing down, contributing a stand out verse on Kanye's already forgotten "Champions" and going toe-to-toe with Kendrick Lamar on DJ Khaled's Holy Shit-worthy "Holy Key."

In January, newly-appointed G.O.O.D. Music president Pusha T said that Sean's next album was "finished and ready." While King Push could have been referring to the Twenty88 project, it's far more likely Sean scrapped the original version of his new album in favor of newly-recorded material or Kanye's February release of The Life of Pablo became the label's priority and Sean was forced to sit back and wait.

One song that won't make the new album is "Living Single," a collaboration with Chance The Rapper, Jeremih and Smino, which leaked in late July.

Expectations are high for Sean, 28, who is coming off the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful solo release of his career. Will the Detroit native be able to meet them? We should find out soon.
