Big Sean's fourth studio album I Decided. has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, but instead of writing about an achievement he has previously earned (2015's Dark Sky Paradise), I'd like to focus on "Bounce Back" quietly becoming Sean's most successful solo single... ever.

On this week's Hot 100, "Bounce Back" jumped nine spots from No. 15 to No. 6, becoming Sean's third top 10 single—his first since 2011's "Dance (A$$)," featuring Nicki Minaj (No. 10), and as featured on Bieber's "As Long as You Love Me" (No. 6) in 2012—and the highest charting solo record of his career without a guest feature.

Over the past seven years, Sean has officially released 16 singles over four albums, 15 of which have charted on the Hot 100, but despite earning Platinum and Gold plaques for records like "My Last," "Beware," "Marvin & Chardonnay," "Guap," "Paradise" and "One Man Can Change The World," none of them ever managed to crack the top 30.

In addition to "Bounce Back" reaching No. 6 on the Hot 100, the record jumped from No. 8 to No. 3 on the Streaming Songs chart (25.8 million total, a 31% increase week-over-week), it's currently No. 8 on the iTunes Top 100 Hip-Hop & Rap Songs chart, and the video, which just passed the 45 million view mark, has been averaging close to 800k views a day for the past two weeks.

"Bounce Back" is not yet the best-selling single of Sean's career, nor has its accompanying video racked up the highest number of views—both of those honors belong to "I Don't F**k With You," featuring E-40—but it's only been on the Hot 100 for 14 weeks.

While it's possible "Bounce Back," which got a huge boost from the release of its album home I Decided., will take a major slide next week, even if it does, the single has already exceeded Sean's own expectations and earned him yet another certification.

No L's around these parts.
