A total of 33 months passed between the release of Isaiah Rashad's 2014 debut Cilvia Demo and its long-overdue follow-up, but when the 25-year-old finally delivered The Sun's Tirade last September, it was well worth the wait.

According to the artist himself, however, the interval between The Sun's Tirade and his next slew of releases won't be nearly as long.

"I'm officially giving myself to my supporters," Rashad told us via text. "I'm done being a hermit."

To prove just how serious he is about unleashing new material out into the world, Rashad tweeted a video that includes several song snippets:

Just prior to the release of The Sun's Tirade, Rashad revealed that he was in the midst of crafting a mixtape that "nobody will ever hear." While the Chattanooga, Tennessee native hasn't provided fans with an update on the mysterious project since first tweeting about it, he has confirmed his intention to release a few "loosie" records "soon [as fuck]."

Meanwhile, Rashad's label, Top Dawg Entertainment, is gearing up for a loaded 2017 release schedule, which will include new albums from Kendrick Lamar (out April 7), followed shortly thereafter by SZA, ScHoolboy Q and Jay Rock.
