On Monday afternoon (April 17), Big Boi shared a short, cryptic video clip to his social networks with the hashtag "Big Boom Theory."

Quickly, and without a sniff of confirmation from the artist or his label, Epic Records, several rap outlets began to report that Big had announced Big Boom Theory as the title of his forthcoming third solo album.

It is not.

"Nah, more details coming this week," Big told us via text.

Okay, so Big Boom Theory is not the title of the follow-up to 2012's Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, but how about the first single off the new album? Is "Big Boom Theory" the title of a single?

"Nah, [but] it will all make sense later this week," he reiterated.

Well, there you have it. The album is done, we'll have more information—and most likely a new song with Adam Levine—later this week, and Big Boom Theory is not the title.
