Logic has never shied away from showing love to those who have either inspired his career or influenced his music and Drake is no exception.

In a new interview with MONTREALITY, the Def Jam MC once again thanked Drake was serving up a formal education:

"Your music has taught me so much," Logic said. "And when I thought I just needed to be this rapper, rapping all the time, you said, 'Nah, you can rap, you can spit those bars, and you can sing, and you can be yourself.' Honestly, I don't think I've ever gotten the chance to say this: If you see this, Drake, thank you for paving the way for me to be the best me I can be."

While fellow rappers praising Drake for his contributions to the industry and hip-hop has seemingly become a weekly occurrence—just last week, PnB Rock credited Drizzy with introducing melody to modern hip-hop—Logic has been singing his praises for the past seven years. In 2011, before the release of Drake's best album, Take Care, Logic called him a "legend," in 2012, he referred to Drake as his "favorite hitmaker" of all-time, and in 2015, he staunchly defended him amidst the ghostwriting accusations by Meek Mill.

Find someone who loves you as much as Logic loves Drake—or J. Cole.
