Download DJBooth's new App, The PLUG Today Ab-Soul's "These Days" album leaked, and because this is 2014, the internet - or at least the portion of the internet that cares passionately about hip-hop - went scrambling to hear it. Instead of navigating through the treacherous, virus-infested waters of share sites so you can hear that Solo right now, we're streaming the album via YouTube below. Instead of downloading, you can listen to it along with everyone else in DJBooth Nation, discuss and cop the album officially. (UPDATE: We've replaced the YouTube stream with the official SoundCloud stream.)

Now, onto the specifics. There's been a lot of talk in the past few weeks that "These Days" isn't receiving the same push that Kendrick and ScHoolboy's albums got, but it's crucial to realize that unlike Kendrick and Q, Soul isn't directly signed to Interscope,. That means while "These Days" will be distributed through Interscope, he's not getting the full force of the major label marketing and promotion machine that his TDE compatriots did. But that also means that unlike Q, who complained that he felt pressure to craft radio jams, Ab-Soul can do whatever the fuck he wants on "These Days", including sure-to-be-controversial religious imagery and ten minute long a Capella raps.

Did this album live up to your expectations? Where does Ab-Soul belong in the TDE hierarchy? Hell, where does he belong in the rap hierarchy period? Go get your listen on and let's start breaking things down in the comment section.

NOTE: Any download links will be deleted as soon as possible. Purchase "These Days" on iTunes.
