Brooklyn Bodega holds Open Casting Call for Booth-Sponsored “Salute the DJ” Event

Download DJBooth's new App, The PLUG New York, N.Y. -- DJBooth.net has partnered with Brooklyn Bodega, producers of the 7th Annual Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival, to present Salute the DJ, a showcase featuring the turntablism of Marly Marl, Grand Wizzard Theodore, Chairman Mao, Twilight Tone, Mista Sinista (X-Ecutioners), Roli Rho (IBPDJs/5th Platoon) and Getlive.

The opening act, however, has yet to be determined--and that's where you come in. This Friday, June 24, at Brooklyn's Scratch DJ Academy (434 6th Avenue, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10011) from 4-7:00 PM, DJs in the NYC area are invited to audition for the opportunity to rock the stage before the aforementioned illustrious lineup. Come prepared with a five-minute set. In addition to a 30-minute set at the Salute the DJ event, the chosen DJ will receive four free tickets and a FLüD Watch!
