Download DJBooth's new App, The PLUG Since the early 2000s, Clinton Sparks has risen to prominence as a musical tastemaker through his work as a producer, songwriter, club/mixtape DJ and television/radio personality, notably pioneering the Get Familiar mixtape series and scoring the #1 worldwide syndicated radio program with Smashtime Radio. Now, the Boston heavyweight has hooked up with DJBooth.net to share his insights with the hip-hop nation in the form of a weekly Top Five Countdown of his current favorite records.

Rick Ross' massively reader-acclaimed album leak, "Free Masons," is first on Sparks' list this week, followed by Jared Evans' equally Booth-approved "In Love With You." Swedish recording artist Robyn's "Dancehall Queen" (not previously featured in the Booth) comes in third. Rounding out the lineup are two star-studded remixes, M.I.A./Nicki Minaj collab "Teqkilla (Remix)" and Katy Perry's Snoop-assisted "California Gurls (Armand Van Helden Remix)" (the latter of which was also not featured in the Booth).

Tune in next Friday for another Top Five from Clinton Sparks!

1. Rick Ross ft. Jay-Z - Free Mason Remix
2. Jared Evan - In Love With You
3. Robyn - Dancehall Queen
4. M.I.A. ft. Nicki Minaj - Teqkilla (Remix)
5. Katy Perry ft. Snoop Dogg - California Gurls (Armand Van Helden Remix)
