DJBooth Chart Recap: Week of 03/11/2012

Download DJBooth's new App, The PLUG New York, N.Y. -- This week on The DJBooth's Top Hip Hop and R&B Chart, Tyga's “King & Queens” tumbles from first to fifth, allowing last week's second and third-place picks, Rihanna's “Birthday Cake (Remix)” and J. Cole's “Grew up Fast,” to claim the top two. Mac Miller scores the sole new addition to the chart with “Loud.” Graduating from our Rap and R&B/Pop charts are cuts by Nicki Minaj, Novel, Slaughterhouse, The-Dream and more.

On our Top Rap Chart, former front-runners Nicki Minaj (“Roman Reloaded”) and Diggy Simmons (“88”) graduate to our Top Hip Hop and R&B Chart, clearing the way for Big K.R.I.T.'s “4EvaNaDay Theme” and Ace Hood's “Hallucinations” to debut in the top two. Further new additions come courtesy of Rick Ross, Bun B, Wiz Khalifa and more!

On the Top R&B/Pop Chart, Novel's “Video Games” and The-Dream's “Kill the Lights” make the jump to our Top Hip Hop and R&B Chart, clearing the way for two former Top Picks, Melanie Fiona's “Change the Record” and Drake's “Take Care,” to snag the top two. Debuting on the chart this week are cuts by Jori King, Novel, Kirby Lauryn and more.

On the DJBooth's Top Independent Hip Hop Chart, Soul Khan's DJBooth-premiered “Wellstone” and Rittz' “Bloody Murdah” debut on top, knocking G-Eazy's “Marilyn” and Odd Future's “Rella” to (respecvtively) eighth and seventh. All in all, 16 new features earn spots on the chart, including additional Booth-exclusive world premieres from Bizzy Crook and Mike Dreams.
