DJBooth Announces “The Rising Live From Austin” Showcase ft. Kendrick Lamar, Big K.R.I.T. & More

Download DJBooth's new App, The PLUG Austin, Tx. - Next month, March 11-20, up-and-coming artists from across the map will converge on Austin, Texas to participate in the 25th annual South by Southwest festival. As part of the week's festivities, DJBooth.net will be linking up with 2DopeBoyz.com and Last Rights to present The Rising: Austin, TX, a UniqueSquared-sponsored showcase featuring a lineup of the game's hottest emerging hip-hop talents.

Going down Friday, March 18, at the Dizzy Rooster, the free event will run from 12 to 6:00 PM. The afternoon will include performances by Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, El Da Sensei, REKS (w/ Statik Selektah) and many more Booth faves, as well as DJ sets by M-Phazes and Meka and a few surprise guests!
