Drift City Records Signs Record Deal with Atlanta Rapper, Young Bree

Download DJBooth's new App, The PLUG Atlanta, GA -- Drift City Records, an Atlanta based boutique label has signed rapper, Young Bree and launches online contest for fans of Young Bree's summer time banger, "Check Ya Swagg" featuring Shawty Redd and Killer Mike. The single has impacted radio and is rapidly gaining fans with over 10,000 internet downloads on the internet of the song in its first week.

Young Bree and his label, Drift City Records has enlisted Youtube and Myspace to show love to fans of "Check Ya Swagg" and will hold two contests on each of the sites. The Myspace banner contest is open to all myspace users who add Young Bree as a friend and place his "Check Ya Swagg" banner on their myspace page by Monday June 13th. The Youtube video contest is open to all members of Youtube who create a video for "Check Ya Swagg," and ends on Friday June 20th . Two winners will be chosen from each contest with a grand prize of Apple iPod Touch, second prize winner will receive a swagg bag with over $50 in prizes and the third prize winner will receive a "Check Ya Swagg" tee-shirt and personal phone call from Young Bree.

"Check Ya Swagg" featuring rappers Shawty Redd and Killer Mike is the first single on Young Bree's debut album to be released in Fall '08 on Drift City Records. It has been gaining rapid radio play and underground approval. Young Bree holds his own among the heavy-hitters on "Check Ya Swagg" rhyming, "Some say they got a swagg but they ain't got it yet."

Young Bree's untitled debut project will be released in Fall 2008.
