Download DJBooth's new App, The PLUG New York, N.Y. -- For most of us, when we read the letters "P.U.S.S.Y.", what immediately springs to mind is... um... an adorable kitten. Yeah, a kitten, that works, Up-and coming beatsmith Judah, however, thinks a little differently than the rest of us. A buzzmaking beatsmith who's won acclaim for his work with artists like Wale, Raheem Devaughn, Tabi Bonney, SMCity (see: Booth-sponsored EP The Indie Life) and RAtheMC, as well his solo work (see 2010's The Amber Rose Instrumentals), the DMV repper is getting ready to celebrate the redemptive power of music and women with his latest instrumental album, whose provocative title actually stands for "Please Understand She Saved You." Watch for the DJBooth-sponsored project to arrive on our mixtape page for digital purchase this Tuesday, February 7.

In an exclusive interview, Judah steps into The DJBooth to discuss the meaning behind the title of his latest project, how his recent travels abroad have affected the tape's sound, and where he sees himself in ten years.

What are the defining characteristics of a Judah beat? Whether we're listening to you produce for Wale, Raheem Devaughn or yourself, what about the instrumental makes it a Judah beat?

Soulful aggression!!!!!!!

The creativity I put behind the simplest samples or keys make it a Judah beat. Some producers find their sound immediately, some find their sound over a 10[-year] span and some producers' sound never change but my sound is something that I own and take pride in it. What I lack in [musicality] I make up for it in creativity. Go back and get The Amber Rose Instrumentals and listen to this instrumental album and it will make sense.

You obviously chose a provocative title, "P.U.S.S.Y.," for your upcoming album. What does that title mean to you, and what reaction are you hoping to provoke when fans first see it?

"P.U.S.S.Y." stands for "Please Understand She Saved You." [It] has many different meanings honestly but most important Music saved a lot of souls, women saved a lot of men, Women give birth to civilization etc..... It can mean so so much man.

You traveled to Paris, Puerto Rico and London putting this album together. How will listeners be able to hear that global influence in the album?

A lot of the soulful stuff I sampled from those regions. I have an Amy Winehouse tribute on there. She had unlimited amounts of soul. Some of the little beat interludes are from places around the world you didnt even know existed.

You're continuing to build yourself into much more than "just" a producer. Where do you see yourself in ten years?

Honestly I see myself still making beats and instrumental albums but I also see myself chillin with my family, traveling and enjoying the fruits of my labor. I will not be 40 years old sitting in a studio 23 hours a day. That s*ht is for the birds man. I did that in my 20's.

[I'm] getting into canvas painting and meditation and so many other things this world and life have to offer.

Last words? Confessions? Shout outs?

Confessions......Music and the rap artist in music are BROKE!

Shout outs to..... @Dub_MD who's powering the promotion of my instrumental albums all the way from London, Shout out to @universalindie for giving me a platform and support for my music. Shoutout to @djbooth for the support. I rocked with DJ Booth before they were the "hot" site you know now. I'm talking like 2008-2009.... ask Z. Last but no least shout outs to the entire DC, MD and VA hip hop community. Follow me on twitter @judahonthebeats.
