A young emcee from Biloxi, MS (The Gulf Coast), which was one of the areas worst affected by Hurricane Katrina, Kartier has used the struggles that storm brought to fuel his new mixtape, "Katrinaville." For all those who would ask Kevin where he's from, this mixtape is the answer.

"Katrinaville" is presented by RefinedHype, The Sermon's Domain, Swagger Music and Aviator Gang. The project features primarily features production from Untamed Muzik, in addition to DJ Burn One and T-Skhilz, and includes guest work from Platinum Da Don, Richie Gatti, Menace, Glok and CyHi Da Prynce.
