Asking a DJ to pick his favorite record is like telling a parent to pick their favorite child. How could you possibly expect a true DJ, someone who's spent years digging through crates and compiling sets with obsessive detail, to winnow their entire collection down to just a measly ten records? 

Well, that's exactly what Green Label asked Hot 97 host and underground hip-hop purveyor Peter Rosenberg to do; if he could only play ten records for the rest of his career, what would they be? What songs aren't just his favorites, but are songs that typify entire genres, that mean something truly transcendent to him?
