New York, N.Y. -- Following the success of their sold-out show featuring Big K.R.I.T., DJ Booth's latest showcase, co-presented by Move Forward Music, hit New York City club S.O.B.'s last Wendesday featuring headliner, Phil Adé, with support from Kooley High, P.SO, and Sene and numerous special guests. The night was a celebration of good music, good times and of course, an overwhelming love of hip-hop.

To start the night off Brooklyn emcee Sene got things warned up by performing cuts off his latest mixtape, Reality Bites, most notably Cantstandya with fellow BK emcee Von Pea. The Tanya Morgan emcee was met with a large reception and he was not the first surprise guest to show up to the stage. P.SO stepped up the stage next, and with a dramatic anime background playing behind him, he managed to elevate the crowd to a higher level than Sene had already left it. P.SO also brought aptly named fellow rapper, Fresh Daily to the stage to perform Mr. Hollywood, but P.SO wasn't finished yet and brought Homeboy Sandman to rock with him and Daily to perform Get On Down.

Next Kooley High took the stage and it was immediately evident that they had an enormous stage presence. The North Carolina crew performed cuts off their just-released project, EST (Eastern Standard Time), and the crowd moved with them and participated on each song. Fellow NC emcee HaLo, was brought on to help them with a few cuts, including crowd-pleasers Atmosphere and Betty Crocker, a return to the old days of classic group rap, Kooley High is a breath of fresh air and the buzz surrounding them is well founded.

The man of the hour was The Letterman creator Phil Adé, who took the stage with a live band named The Black Alley (is there anything better than live hip-hop?). With lead singer Kacey Williams gloriously singing backup, Phil Ade, who was charismatic and mature on stage, held the set down gracefully and more than brought the collected crowd to their feet. Performing his hard hitting cuts such as Yesterday and Toast 2 Life, Adé delivered a freshly unique hip-hop sound and a magnificent voice was added to the NYC air that night.
