The Best of J Dilla Parts 1-3 Mixtape (Listen & Download)

Download DJBooth's new App, The PLUG The "most underrated" label ironically gets overused a lot, but I feel pretty comfortable saying that J Dilla was and remains the most underrated producer in hip-hop history. While many mainstream hip-hop fans would be hard pressed to recognize his name, Dilla put out an absolutely staggering amount of dope music before his death in 2006, and it's up to us to keep his memory alive. In that spirit producer Just Dizle has released a three part tribute to Dilla including nearly every dope track the man ever did, an impressive achievement in its own right.

At about 200 combined songs the full tracklist is far too long for me to post here, so here's my top 10 in no particular order. You'll just have to trust me (and J Dilla) when I say that other 190 tracks are definitely worth your time.

1) Erykah Badu - My Life

2) De La Soul - Peer Pressure

3) Common - The Questions

4) The Roots - Dynamite

5) Pharcyde - Drop

6) Q-Tip - Vivrant Thing

7) Madlib - Take It Back

8) Slum Village - Forth & Back

9) Ghostface Killah - Whip You With A Strap

10) Talib KWeli - Stand To The Side
