Black and Yellow marked the moment Wiz Khalifa went from a hotly buzzing underground rapper to a certified mainstream superstar, but don’t get it twisted, Mr. Khalifa had been rapping for years before he became a household name. In fact, DJBooth first featured Wiz in January of 2008 with his video single, Say Yeah. So we thought we’d take a stroll down Memory Lane and spotlight every song we featured from from the young Khalifa man before he hit the big time, ending with the song that truly started it all, Black and Yellow.
