While 2 Chainz has never been known for his keen interest in domestic policy, the ATLien is deeply concerned about the increasing level of government surveillance over American lives. After all, what if the FBI snap a picture of him looking less than maximally fly? On the lead single off his sophomore solo set, the Playaz Circle co-founder pledges to keep his swagger turned up at all times, spitting, “I’mma be fresh as hell if the Feds Watching.” In addition to crafting a leisurely, reggae-tinged instrumental backdrop for Chainz’ stunting, Pharrell Williams steps out from behind the boards to accompany the headliner on the flowed hook. Currently lacking a title, 2 Chainz’ second studio album is slated to hit record stores and online retailers on Tuesday, September 10. As always, fans can keep their browsers locked for more fresh cuts leading up to its arrival.
