2 Chainz - Riot

Album:
Based On A T.R.U. Story

Don’t find yourself in a roadside ditch after having going ham to 2 Chainz’ latest video release, Riot. As the first official video as a Def Jam solo artist, Mr. “Riding ‘round and gettin it” is definitely looking to get clubgoers hype with another single straight off of his upcoming solo debut, Based on a T.R.U. Story. Having first appeared on last year’s DJ Drama-hosted T.R.U. REALigion mixtape, Riot raises trash-talking to a whole ‘nother level, offering visuals of the mayhem that comes with the territory. Cut from the familiar cloth of Def Jam‘s earlier production, Run This Town, 2 Chainz acts as more than just the ringleader of the chaos, but also a participant. DJ Spinz joins him in the turmoil staying “tru” to Tity Boy’s style with the cryptic production, giving a little light to the dark chant of “I’mma start a riot/i’mma start a riot.” Let’s just hope the only uprising that occurs is in celebration of Riot banging as another hit single! Check for this and more on Based on a T.R.U. Story, currently set to be released this August.
